This will largely depend on your banker and you shouldn't count on it. However, there have been some old reports of Private Clients who were able to get a new Chase card despite being over 5/24. This policy restricts you from being approved for a new card if you have opened 5 or more credit card accounts in the past 24 months. Getting around the Chase 5/24 rule used to be one of the biggest attractions of being a CPC.
